JOB DESCRIPTION
Do you want to work with modern IT in a culturally rich and creative environment? Do you enjoy varied support work and want to work operationally with our digital workplace? Then this could be the role for you.
The Museum of World Culture is now seeking an IT Support Technician who will be an important part of our IT team. With us, you will combine daily user support with ongoing operations and management of our digital workplace, contributing to creating a stable, secure, and modern technical environment for the entire authority.
You will be part of a team of three people who together are responsible for support and operations of the authority's IT environment. The role involves both hands-on support and more structured work with computers, mobile devices, applications, and the services that make up our digital workplace.
Please note that the position may be located either in Stockholm or Gothenburg, and travel between locations may occur. Please indicate in your application which location you wish to work in.
Operational work with the digital workplace
- Participate in the daily work with our digital workplace
- Ensure that computers and mobile devices are installed, updated, and comply with established standards
- Participate in the work with program installations, updates, and rollouts
- Contribute to improvements of routines and working methods
- Work with lifecycle management of equipment (installation, replacement, preparations)
IT support and operational support
- Support for computers, mobile phones, and peripherals
- Installation and maintenance of IT equipment
- Administration of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and MDM solutions
- Support via phone, remote control, Teams, and in-person meetings
- Installation and troubleshooting of video conferencing systems
QUALIFICATIONS
Mandatory requirements
- Education in IT that the employer deems relevant for the position
- Experience in IT support
- Work or documented education in Active Directory
- Administration of Microsoft 365
- Troubleshooting and support in Windows environment and Android phones
- Good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English
Desirable
- Experience working with Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra
- Knowledge of macOS and iOS
- Basic understanding of LAN and WiFi environments
- Knowledge of server components such as DHCP, DNS, GPO
- Knowledge of Windows Server OS
Personal qualities
Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities such as good judgment, teamwork ability, results orientation, adaptability, and attention to detail. You should be accustomed to and have a good ability to work both independently and in a team.
